چکیده
Surface gravity waves interact with the flexural to generate whose characteristics are triggered for higher values of lateral compressive stress multiple propagating wave modes. This investigation examines scattering obliquely incident due articulation in two semi-infinite heterogeneous floating elastic plates finite water depth within a blocking dynamics regime. The dispersion curve demonstrates existence three modes limits. canonical eigenfunction expansion method used single mode is generalized account limits periods. energy relation established using conservation flux and Snell's law refraction, which depends upon angles amplitude scattered along transfer rates. coefficients (energy rate) goes beyond unit, where corresponding rate (scattering coefficients) diminishes specific Subsequently, complete reflection occurs oblique critical angle incidence fixed period prior at incidence. Removable discontinuities occur saddle points, while jump discontinuity appears change coefficients. plots reveal irregular pattern plate deflection Linear time-dependent displacement simulated dimensions.

Nonlinear dynamics of flexural wave turbulence.
The Kolmogorov-Zakharov spectrum predicted by the weak turbulence theory remains elusive for wave turbulence of flexural waves at the surface of a thin elastic plate. We report a direct measurement of the nonlinear time scale T(NL) related to energy transfer between waves. This time scale is extracted from the space-time measurement of the deformation of the plate by studying the temporal dynam...

Here we show that weakly nonlinear flexural-gravity wave packets, such as those propagating on the surface of ice-covered waters, admit three-dimensional fully localized solutions that travel with a constant speed without dispersion or dissipation. These solutions, that are formed at the intersection of line-soliton mean-flow tracks, have exponentially decaying tails in all directions and are c...

This study presents the design, fabrication and possible applications in liquid density sensing and biosensing of a flexure plate wave (FPW) resonator using sol-gel-derived lead zirconate titanate (PZT) thin films. The resonator has a two-port structure with a reflecting grating on a composite membrane of PZT and SiNx. The design of the reflecting grating is derived from a SAW resonator model u...
